Ah yeah solid. 3.29.11

How's it be,

Just finished a mashup of "Fools" by The Temper Trap and "Absynth" by Woolfy. Sounds good in a sort of meditative electronic trance kind of way (hmmm). Anyway....

Thought I'd bring y'all some homecookin' straight from Spin magazine's CMJ showcase. Everyone knows the song "Sweet Disposition" by 'Trap, mostly from the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack. What they don't know is this is one of THE absolute best sounding live bands out there. Almost all of their sound live is created by the instruments on stage rather than some pre-recorded BS pumped through the PA system. The lead singer, Dougy Mandagi, is a rare treat. Their debut album, Conditions, is full of hits top to bottom. The band is from Melbourne, Australia and they represent their country well. Take a listen, look past the one or two pitchy notes, appreciate the precision, and enjoy.
